Accessibility

The readings on accessibility were equally fascinating. I never considered the problems that many people have using the mouse or screen. I know plenty of people with wrist issues so I am not surprised, but I never extended my thinking beyond that.

I have to say that I am a bit concerned myself about my site's accessibility. Not including red or green may be a challenge. It's not until you have to consider these things that the obstacles really become apparent.
BTW I think it's pretty cool that the word verification thing at the bottom has a link for those with impairments.

In my previous life as a substitute teacher, I worked with a blind student at a high school setting. I was amazed by the adaptations that were used to allow him to take part in normal school activities. The transition to nearly all-online research has created a lot of challenges for the school, which must provide him with equal resources.

It's amazing what you don't even think to think about!
